What's this blog about?
Velocity and acceleration are important concepts in physics. While the former measures how fast you'd travel between two points, the latter answers "how much faster will I be by the next second?" A negative acceleration means that you'd stop, eventually. But, theoretically, a positive acceleration will make you go on and on forever.
Most media accelerates, too. The game industry, for example, is fast, but also growing ever faster. I bet there's enough games for a lifetime released this year alone. Series, manga, and movies experience similar growths. We, as users, have a lot more to choose from, and that's a good thing, but not always.
If we compare the media industry with a perpetually accelerating car, an inevitable question pops up: "how fast is too fast?" If you're the one driving, you're bound to not think fast enough when push comes to shove. If you're outside, however, you'll only see a blur, and to chase it, even with your eyes, becomes impossible.
We users are spectators of the trail the industry leaves behind as it moves. We may never walk besides it, but we can choose how and when to keep moving towards it.
This blog comes from such a decision; I've decided to stop for a while and look towards all those games, anime, manga, and such that I left halfway. Add those I said I'd play/watch sometime, and you get an epic list, the basis of this blog. Yes, I know it says GAME on the title, but that's because it sounded good - semantics be damned, the rule of cool must be followed!
The my on the title must be emphasized, however. This list is the most biased thing you'll encounter on the internet, and reflects my age, interests, and financial situation. It's trip to my past, if you will, but I hope it entertains you as well.
